Alastair Fairbanks is a human; for the most part. He’s also an award-winning cinematographer, director, producer and all around filmmaker. He likes to travel, observe and tell jokes. A graduate of the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts, he has long been passionate about film making and storytelling. He has shot countless video and film projects and his work has received acclaim from festivals, mentors, and peers. Raised in the United States, Italy, and Mexico by an American father and German mother, he is fluent in English, Spanish, Italian and German. Alastair also lived in Taiwan for a few years where he learned a decent amount of Mandarin. He has worked for numerous design studios and production companies, but now pursues independent and commercial film projects as a freelance filmmaker. He is always interested in new projects and opportunities for collaboration, so don’t hesitate to drop him a line.
